Rinkhockey.net database exceeds 80 000 records

The rinkhockey.net database of game's scores has reached the 80 000 records level last week. It contains records of game's results since 11.02.1900, and is being permanently updated with national and international scores.

The website provide also a database with people (mostly players, but also referees, coaches and directors) and another database with competitions results.

This website publishes also, twice a year, the non-official ranking of rink-hockey club teams and national teams.

The Ranking of Club Teams referred to 3rd August, has been published at Rinkhockey.net website.

The list is led by FC Barcelona, followed by SL Benfica, FC Porto, HC Liceo and HC Forte dei Marmi, in a total of 801 computed teams.

FC Porto leads World Ranking

The World Ranking of Men Club Teams has been updated at 31th December 2013. The Portuguese team of FC Porto leads the ranking followed by SL Benfica, also from Portugal, FC Barcelona (Spain), AD Valongo (Portugal) and HC Forte dei Marmi (Italy) in a total of 779 teams.

ASH Valdagno leads World Ranking

The World Ranking of men's club teams has been updated as on 8th August 2013.

The ranking is lead by italian team of ASH Valdagno, followed by FC Porto, SL Benfica, FC Barcelona and HC Liceo.

The ranking list may be download at Rink-Hockey.net website. This is a non-official ranking.

It considers all games from the 2012/2013 season in Europe, Israel and Egypt and for the 2013 season (January till August) for all other countries.

779 teams have been rated, a slight increase comparing to previous list.

For the calculations, more than 8 400 scores of games have been considered, employing well defined rules.

Valdagno leads World Ranking

The World Ranking of Men Club Teams has been published at rink-hockey.net

The Ranking is calculated following the ELO system and considers for European teams only the games played since the beginning of the season (from 1st August), and for the other teams all the games played in 2012.

FC Barcelona leads World Ranking

The World Club Teams Ranking has been published in site Rink-Hockey.net

The Ranking is now lead by team of FC Barcelona, followed by HC Liceo, SL Benfica, FC Porto and ASH Valdagno. It accounts with 719 teams, more 15 than in the list published at the beginning of the year.

The calculation of the Ranking takes into account results of games from 6th september 2011 till 31th July 2012, for European teams, and since 1st January 2012 for the other teams, and follows rules according to the ELO rating system.

Searching for the position of one team in the Ranking is also possible. Click here and write a part of the team's name, on the "Search Team" box.

The Ranking is being calculated uninterruptly since May 1998. Next Ranking list will be published by the beginning of 2013, then considering games for European teams since today, and for the other teams for the whole year 2012.

Men Club Rankings updated

The Men Club Ranking has been updated as for 6th September 2011.

Portuguese team of SL Benfica lead the classification, followed closely by Reus Deportiu, FC Barcelona, FC Porto and HC Liceo, in a total of 873 listed teams.

World Men Rankings updated

The World Rankings have been updated at 31th December 2010:


Ranking of men's Club teams (01.01.2011)    New

Men's National Teams Ranking (01.01.2011)   New

Youth men's National Teams Ranking  (01.01.2011)   New

Men's Club Ranking is now lead by SL Benfica (Portugal), followed by Reus Deportiu and HC Liceo, both from Spain. 

The ranking considers all senior games disputed in whole year 2010 in Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Colombia, USA, Mexico, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Angola, and Mozambique, and since August 2010 till the end of the year for the other countries.

Junior teams are being computed. However, due to lack of accuracy, their ratings will be published only in next list, beggining of August 2011.

World Women Rankings updated

The World Women Rankings (club and national teams) have been updated in

Rink-Hockey.net

Because of the lack of games between club teams of different continents, the Ranking of Club Teams has been adjusted according to international countries competition's results.

World Club Ranking updated

The World Men's Club Ranking has been updated with games till the 31th July.

It can be visited here

FC Barcelona, Liceo and Vic leads the ranking, followed by FC Porto and CP Vilanova, in a total of 1031 teams included.

A total of 10765 games has been considered for the calculations, regarding competitions from July 2009 for European countries, and from 1st January for other teams.

The ranking is being calculated since May 1998 and is published regularly at the site Rink-Hockey.net.

Club rankings will be updated by the end of July

The worldwide Ranking of Men Club Teams will be updated just by the end of July. This is because some club tournaments are still being held in Europe, and to include nationals from Australia and USA in the calculations.

The Women Club rankings will be published after World Women Championship, Alcobendas, to make possible to calibrate model with international country games, taking into account the few international club games being played currently in Women competitions.

The Men Club Teams Ranking has been updated at 31.12.2009. More than 7.000 scores have been considered. The ranking is now lead by CP Vic, followed by HC Liceo and FC Barcelona, the threee teams from Spain. The first 10 placed are:
