Season starts in Japan

The rink-hockey season started in Japan with the West Japan Championship, held in Itami in the 3rd June. 5 team participated, the winner being West Wind Club, after beating Aichi Club by 2-1. Final classification was:

1. West Wind Club
2. Aichi Club
3. Jack's Club
4. Kinchi Univ.
5. Nana Osaka

Japanese calendar is as follows:

East Japan Championship - 17 to 24 June
All Japan Championship - 6 to 9 September
West Japan Society Conference - 27 October
Kanto Society Conference - starting 12 January 2013
