In an historical decision, rink-hockey clubs and federations from San Juan and Mendoza, the provinces of Argentina where hockey is strongest, decided to abandon the official national body, Confederation Argentina de Patin (CAP).
The clubs and regional federations decided to create a new body, solely dedicated to rink-hockey.
