Asian Championship starts tomorrow

The 13th Asian Roller Hockey Championships will be held in Dalian, China, from the 9th January till the 15th.

The Mens National teams participating are Macau, Japan, Taiwan, India and Pakistan.

Macau's Team is composed by the following players:Keepers: Leong Chak In and Paulo Gibelino. Field Players: Nuno Antunes, Hélder Ricardo, Augusto Ramos, Ricardo Atraca, Alexandre Torrão, Dinísio da Luz, Alfredo Almeida and Alberto Lisboa Trainer: Alberto Lisboa

The Womens National teams participating are Macau, Japan and India.

Macau's Team is composed by the following players:Keepers: Michelle Ritchie and Palmira Pena. Field Players: Sara Barrias, Dulce Atraca, Shelley Calangi, Cíntia Leite, A Weng and Kok Ka Man. Trainer: Alberto Lisboa.

The National team of Argentina beat Catalunya by 7-5 in the friendly game held at Palau Blaugrana, in Barcelona, with 4500 attendees.

Andes Talleres SC wins Clausura Mendoza

The team of Andes Talleres SC won the Clausura Mendoza, Argentina,after beating 6-5 Atletico Palmira, in the second game of the play-off's Final. In the first game the score was 3-3.

Universidad de Chile wins Clausura Honor

The second game of the Final of Clausura Honor Chile defined the Champion, Universidad de Chile, after a draw 1-1 against Estudiantil San Miguel. In the first game UC beat 4-2.

With this results, Univerisidad de Chile repeated the victory of lat year.

Meanwhile, San Agustin got the title in Torneo Regular Clausura 2009 Adulto Masculino, after beating Universidad Catolica by 4-3 in the Final game

Estudiantil - Valenciano in the Final in San Juan

The teams of DU Estudiantil and Centro Valenciano will dispute the title of the Clausura in San Juan.

Estudiantil got the right after beating Concepcion PC in the 3rd game, by a golden goal of Diego Olaya, after 3-3 in regular time. This will repeate the final of 2008, between the same teams.

The Final should start today. However, because Pablo Martin and Kennan, both players from Estudiantil will participate in the Argentinian National team for the game to be disputed against Catalunya, the final has been postponed to march 2010.
