HC Braga wins Eurockey Cup u17

The u17 team of HC Braga (Portugal) won the final of the Eurockey Cup u17 2014, held in Blanes, after beating UVP Mirandola (Italy) by 2-1. 3rd place was for FC Barcelona, that beat CP Manlleu by 6-4.

Portugal and Spain will decide European title

The European u20 Championship will be decided tonight, in Valongo, between Spain and Portugal. Yesterday, Spain beat Italy, after extra-time (2-1), and Portugal defeated France by 4-0.

The first game between the junior selections of Portugal and Spain, was disputed in the 14th December 1953, in Lisbon, with a draw 2-2.

Since then, more 58 games have been played between these rival teams. In total, Spain won 25 games, Portugal 16, and the remaining 14 were draw. Full results

Portuguese League starts this week-end

The first Portuguese League will start tomorrow. The traditional SL Benfica - Sporting CP will open the competition.
